Meet Jason

Husband & Father. Lifelong Dallas resident. Local businessman. Former Texas State Representative.

Jason Villalba, a fourth-generation Texan, has lived in Dallas his entire life. The first in his family to go to college, he not only attended Baylor University on scholarship, but also went on to graduate from The University of Texas School of Law. Throughout his professional career Jason has focused on corporate law, and currently works at the highly-respected firm, Foley Gardere.

In 2013, he became the only Hispanic Republican freshman member of the Texas House of Representatives. Throughout his time in the legislature, Rep. Villalba was known for working across the aisle to get stuff done. With this work ethic, more of the bills he authored were signed into law than any other legislator, and he earned awards of distinction from the Dallas Police Association, Dallas Fire and Rescue, the Texas Association of Realtors, the ASPCA, MADD, the Texas Medical Association, the Cancer Action Network and many other organizations.

Above all, Jason is a dedicated husband, father and active member of the Dallas community. He has served on the Development Committee of the Dallas Zoo, the Dallas Children’s Trust, the Board of the Dallas Housing Finance Corporation, the Dallas County Citizens Election Advisory Committee and is a current board member of the Dallas Holocaust Museum and Center for Education and Tolerance.
